Vance Pounders, MS, PT, DPT

Vance Pounders, MS, PT, DPT, a licensed physical therapist at Highpoint Health Therapy Services, is advanced certified in Neurologic Physical Therapy from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). As a Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS), Pounders recognizes the life-altering impact of neurological conditions and emphasizes the importance of specialized care for these patients to help improve quality of life. 

Neurological populations require advanced education for optimal skilled care, providing a better understanding of different neurological conditions and improved interventions to help patients. Neurologic PT addresses conditions like strokes, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and degenerative conditions such as Parkinson’s, ALS, and BPBV (vertigo).
